Comments: This vase was inspired by “Espanol” line of pottery from Newcomb College circa 1920 which was commonly in a darker blue glaze often with the glaze drip pooling in a paler blue/white variation. My vase is uniquely diverse although you can see the inspiration in the perpendicular incising defined by the green glaze dripping and pooling into black glaze.
Description: Wheel thrown bulbous vase with small incised marks around rim complemented in the middle of the pot with varying length incised vertical lines. Green drip glaze flow varies between green and black. Foot has multiple banding.
Glaze: Flowing drip semi-matte green with black undertones
Height: 9.25″
Rim opening: 3″
Foot: Multi-banded
Approx. Weight: 4 lbs.
